Installing the Message Queuing services (MSMQ) on Windows Server 2008


Purpose
The message queuing service is a scalable service developed by Microsoft to enable high volume event processing. The message queuing service is included with every Windows 2000/2003/2008 and XP version, although not always installed/enabled by default. 

Prerequisite(s)
Admin access to the HQMS web server

Instructions
1. Open Server Manager.


2. Click on Features.


3. Click Add Features.


4. Check Message Queuing and click Next


5. Click Install.


6. Once installation is complete, click Close.
